Trouble Getting Into Gear - Manual Transmission

We have had several members who have had problems with their manual transmissions getting them to shit into gear. It usually turns out to be the cable end bushings that wear out. Excessive play in the bushings is the culprit. Most people have swapped out the OEM bushings for new and improved ones called "Booger Bushings". The ones that cause most of the problems are the cable ends at the transmission. These are accessed by removing your air filter box and battery. Pretty easy to change for a do-it-yourself-er.
